So, my Sister from another Mister and I are working on planning a visit to the DC Metro area to meet up with each other and our good friend LAW. We’re hoping that it works out sometime this summer, and that others will hopefully be able to join us as well.
I, for one, and frickin’ excited. I have been blessed this past year to meet some fantastic imaginary friends who have helped me in more ways than they probably know. They are a bright group of women whom I feel lucky to be in the presence of, and they have been so helpful in dealing with this deployment. Having like-minded women in my circle [even if it's a circle that encompasses thousands of miles, and now, a couple of continents], has made life easier.
And now, I get to finally meet some of them in person. And I couldn’t BE MORE HAPPY!
Plus, there is that little side thing of, oh yeah, I’VE NEVER BEEN TO DC. I don’t know which part of all of this I am looking forward to more! Meeting way cool people, or touring our Nation’s capitol. Either way, though, it’s going to be a great time. You can definitely count on me to take plenty of pictures.
So that’s that. I just wanted to share. Because I really truly am super excited. SUPER.
