I wrote this huge long post about how much I love this song, what it means to me, how the words resonate with my life, how I often find meaning in songs that are personal to me, and how as much as I loved the Willie version, it doesn’t get any better than Dave.
Instead, I’ll just leave you with the awesome live version from the CMA’s the other night. It’s a fitting song to leave you with, because MY boat is about to catch it’s wind, and I’m busy preparing, which means no posts for a while!
