Fantasy Football

I should have been a guy.

Football Season. I LOVE it. I live for it. Don’t bother making plans with me on the weekends, because if there is a football game on, I will have it on the TV. And the NFL Network? Best thing ever. 24 hours of football? OMG I have died and gone to heaven. Besides Hockey Season, there is nothing better.

My husband doesn’t understand this, but has vowed that this year, when he gets home from the big D, that he will try to watch it with me a little more. Which cracks me up, because that’s a conversation that I should be having with HIM. Not the other way around. I think he follows sports — he always know what he’s talking about when it comes up — but if it wasn’t a World Cup Soccer match, I have never seen him actually SIT and watch a game. Which is just mind boggling to me. Isn’t that what guys are supposed to do?

Either way, I’m so happy that Football season is here. I was a little slow on the uptake for Fantasy Football this year. In all honesty, it has been a couple of years since I played, and all my friends’ leagues were full by the time I got around to asking about it. So, I joined a totally random ESPN league full of Dallas Cowboy fans (woot!) I am indeed the only girl in my league. But, I know what I’m doing, and I think I have a pretty good lineup, so I’m stoked about the season. I think I think I can hold my own among the guys. And I would loooove to finish in the top three.

So, I bring you my 2009 Fantasy Football Lineup. I have a couple injuries, but nothing major (sprained finger, sprained toe) that will keep them out for the regular season. All in all, I think I’m going to kick some ass this year.  (Thoughts? Suggestions? Predictions??)
